Our office will be closed Friday, August 9 through Monday August 19 ! 

Will you be without support ?  Of course not.  Please send your support requests to Support@MasterLinkSoftware.com.  Our email will be monitored, and we will respond, throughout that period of time.

Our voicemail system during that time will transcribe your message and send it to us by email.  However, the service is pretty poor, so you will want to speak slowly and distinctly.  Again, your best recourse is email !

If you have issues, and have delayed in reporting them, DO IT NOW !  This is your best time to get help ! 99% of the calls we get when we are out of the office are on issues that should have been handled earlier ( ie. a system hadn’t updated for 3 months … )

We hope your summer is going well.  Our current version is 9.33.11, and the next update will NOT be posted until after August 20th.

Tablets are here, and a great use for them is to have an inspection checklist which can be marked by a technician as the car is surveyed. 

Our plan is to create a new page for each workorder that will display an inspection checklist.  The technician can check off the items which are inspected, and then a report can be printed with the final invoice to share with your customer.

Each item on the checklist would have a description, then options for checking off OK, Watch,  or Attention Needed.  There will also be a space for a brief note. 

The descriptions will be user definable so you can include what you want.
